Baptism

If you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you have completed Session I of the Kingdom Advancers Class (KAC), register online for the next Baptism date. If you have already been baptized, be sure to stop by and encourage those who have decided to take this important next step.

What is Baptism?

Once you start your lifelong adventure with Jesus, baptism by immersion is a tangible way of showing your new commitment. Just like a wedding ring signifies a marriage, the act of baptism signifies a life change and acceptance of Jesus into your life.

Shiloh recognizes baptism as a total immersion, rather than a christening or partial immersion. Total immersion represents the death and resurrection of Jesus. And we recognize baptism as our obedience to the command given by Jesus (Mt 28:19).

Where Do I Go?

Baptisms are held at the Main Sanctuary, located in the rear of the Choir Loft. Our Diaconate will guide you to our changing rooms and pray with you just before the ceremony. Invite family and friends to watch and encourage you in your new journey.

Who Will Baptize Me?

Our Pastor and our Deacons will baptize you.

Prerequisites for Baptism

In order to be baptized, Adults and Youth must complete Session I of the KAC prior to being baptized. This is done so that our Adults and our Youth will fully understand the significance of salvation and observance of this ordinance.
