New Members Information
Thanks for connecting with Shiloh! We are grateful for your presence, and even more excited to walk with you on this journey in Christ!
In order to grow as disciple of Christ while overcoming life's challenges, this journey requires all of us to be equipped with the knowledge of God. Therefore, we are committed to seeing you grow in God. Our New Members Orientation and Kingdom Advancers Class will not only help you learn more about Shiloh, but it will also aid you in building a strong foundation in Jesus Christ.
New Members Orientation & Kingdom Advancers Class
New Members Orientation and the Kingdom Advancers Class (KAC) is the first step for all new members in becoming strong disciples for the Jesus Christ. The Orientation will help you acclimate to Shiloh and to all that the Lord is leading us to do as a church. The KAC will aid you in your spiritual growth and will prepare you to serve in a ministry where your gifts, talents and skills can be fully utilized for the advancement of the Kingdom.
All new Kingdom Advancers (New Members) are required to complete all three Sessions prior to becoming active ministry members; however, all new members are welcome and encouraged to volunteer in ministry work while attending KAC. If you have just received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are required to complete Session I prior to scheduling for Baptism. We want to ensure that all disciples, both children and adults, fully comprehend their decision and the steps towards life on a new journey with Jesus.
At the completion of Session III, the graduates will be recognized for their commitment to Christ during Worship Service. There will be two special Fellowships a year to further celebrate your connecting with Shiloh. And Pastor will meet with all new members together after Session III for a moment called “Chit-Chat with Pastor Cheeks.” This is an excellent time to ask Pastor general questions about the ministries of Shiloh.
Note: All members, new or current, are welcome to attend any of the three Sessions at any time in the life of your journey with Christ.
