Empowerment Ministries


HIV/AIDS "WeCare" Ministry 
WeCare Ministry serves to bring a greater awareness about the HIV/AIDS pandemic to our church and community through various mediums of prevention and intervention including: educational tools, workshops, and seminars. While providing loving, receptive, and caring support for those affected and infected, we hope and pray for healing and restoration for the soul. 

We are affiliated with the Northern Virginia Clergy Council for HIV/AIDS Prevention (more) and the Fairfax County Health Department (more).

Fact: 
African Americans represent about 13% of the population, but account for 50% of all AIDS cases diagnosed in the U.S.
In Northern Virginia, 2,366 of the 5,263 HIV/AIDS cases are African American.

The Kingdom Couples Connection provides a refreshing atmosphere for married and engaged couples to enjoy inspirational, encouraging, and enlightening ministry moments that enhance their relationships. We help married and engaged couples reestablish, strengthen, and build upon the foundation for which they have united and/or are preparing to unite; that foundation being Jesus Christ.

Men’s Ministry - "The Band of Brothers"

The Men’s Ministry is designed to grow and mature men through the knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to learn and apply God’s Word to our lives so that our lifestyles will demonstrate our devotion to Him. Along with bible study, we provide men with fellowship, various recreational activities, support and health awareness opportunities that will produce men who advance the Kingdom of God.

Seasoned Servants (Senior Adult) Ministry 

The Seasoned Servants are a special group of believers who the Lord has blessed for 65 years or more. Our gifts, as well as our presence, are a vital part of the ministries of Shiloh. Therefore, we focus on activities and fellowship opportunities that minister to our seniors, and builds bridges between generations.

Women’s Ministry - "Women of Worship" (W.O.W.)

The Women’s Ministry seeks to empower women of all ages by providing opportunities to grow spiritually and emotionally while building relationships with one another. We provide events and activities that minister to the holistic Woman.

Young Adult Ministry (YAM)

The Young Adult Ministry is a group of charismatic believers, ranging in age from 18-45, who seek to bring souls to Christ while growing closer to God and each other through bible study, stewardship, and fellowship. We desire to spiritually strengthen, unify and empower young adults. Holding to the sacred scripture in 2 Chronicles 19:9,  "...in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, and with a perfect heart," we serve the Lord with full devotion while advancing His Kingdom.
